Churches no longer rely on physical books for hymns. Many of us have fond memories of these precious books, but they are rapidly disappearing. Churches have moved on to projectors and video. Hymnals are now left unused and are ultimately being thrown away by churches across the country and world. 

Most have in fact already been thrown away, more than a decade ago.

We at hymnalpages.com are a pair of artists who started with a box of hymnals that were on their way to the trash and began creating artwork with them.

We experimented with many different ideas until we found stitching. We were inspired by some hand-stitched masterpieces, masterpieces which would have been impossible for us to get to you.

Instead, we invented a method of stitching on the paper using our embroidery machines to create a unique work of art for your home or office.
